if there were a presidential candidate that used this as their campaign ad these days, i would vote for him or her, hands down, no questions asked.

Does this remind anyone else of the Animaniacs' "Countries of the World" song? Man I miss the Animaniacs...
That's certainly one thing Kennedy had in common with the Barack O. An understanding of the importance of media in the election. Wearing makeup in the debate with Nixon won it for him for the TV watchers (Nixon's 5 O'clock shadow didn't help), while radio listeners said Nixon won.
